Acapella and Voice

I started taking private voice lessons in my sophomore year at Harvey Mudd. There, I learned how to control and project my voice under the tutelage of Professor Lisa Stidham, eventually performing a number of classical pieces as a soloist at student recitals. Here, I sing Die Forelle, a song by Franz Schubert, as a baritone.

I joined the Claremont Mood Swing acapella group during my final year at Mudd. Singing pop music provided a nice balance to the classical training I had received, and both experiences definitely became an integral part of my college years. Here, we sing Bottom of the River, a song by the talented Delta Rae, whom we had the pleasure of meeting later that year as a result of performing a cover of this song.
