Though born in California, I moved back to Taiwan at a young age, and still consider Taiwan to be home. Going to school at an American school ensured that my English skills were still on par with other native English speakers, though my Mandarin skills did not reach that level of fluency. Nevertheless, I am still able to navigate through the streets of Taiwan, possessing a conversational and basic literacy level of Mandarin.
After graduating from Mudd with distinction, I set about securing a job and apartment in the states on my own. I had always intended on managing my own life with little to no financial support from my family after graduation, and thus far I have been successful with this endeavor. I worked for a year at Raytheon as an Electrical Engineer, before going back to school at UCLA to pursue a Master's degree in Computer Science.
In the meantime, I have been settling quite comfortably into the west LA area. I do gymnastics and modeling in my free time, and go out with my friends probably more often than I should.
